How to be edgy + feminine

I am not a super girly girl. Which is odd because when I was a little girl I was obsessed with princesses, the color pink, baby dolls, barbies, I mean you name it! Somewhere along the way, I started losing the total girly girl act and turned into a bit of a tom boy! So now today, I like to think I have a healthy dose of both :)

Sometimes I love dressing up and looking pretty and sometimes I love dressing rocker chic. For me, it seems like my feminine style always comes out more in the summer and my edgy look shows up a lot more in the winter months.

I like to dress up for my birthday (I mean, who doesn’t?), but I was in the mood to wear these pointed black boots. Do you ever have those days when you dress according to the shoes you want to wear? Ya, I was having one of those days. My booties are edgy but since it was my bday, I wanted to wear something delicate and sweet. Lucky me, I found the perfect dress at the very last minute.
